Hugo leads global waste prevention strategy across Amazon’s Consumer and Grocery businesses, working to prevent millions of units of waste annually through data-driven frameworks and upstream intervention systems. He builds the cost-of-waste models that drive executive prioritization — and serves as Amazon’s primary liaison to key U.S. food waste industry groups.
His nearly nine years at Amazon span product management, competitive intelligence, business development, and sustainability — across the U.S., Luxembourg, and Europe. He drove 192% year-over-year revenue growth as a program manager, and defined an agentic AI product vision to automate brand monitoring at scale.
Hugo holds dual master’s degrees from Erasmus University Rotterdam, completed an Executive Masterclass in Circular Economy at the University of Exeter, and is a Perplexity AI Business Fellow. He is multilingual across English, French, German, and Luxembourgish.
