Why this role exists:

The sustainability market is evolving rapidly – driven by regulation (BRSR, SB253, SB261, CSRD etc.), global supply chain pressure, and investor scrutiny. However, enterprise sales cycles are long, consultant-driven, and relationship-intensive.

We are looking for a high-calibre Account Executive to:

  • Own revenue growth for India, APAC and the Middle-East market
  • Build and close enterprise pipeline independently
  • Position Sprih as a premium, long-term sustainability infrastructure partner
  • Drive supply chain product adoption alongside enterprise reporting modules

This role is not about transactional selling.
It is about navigating complex enterprise buying cycles, building trust and creating durable revenue pipelines.

What you will own:

Revenue Ownership

  • Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets
  • Close enterprise and supply chain deals across large and mid-cap accounts
  • Build and maintain 3-4x pipeline coverage, build outbound motion
  • Drive structured proposals and disciplined forecasting
  • Accountable for results and outcomes, not just activity.

Enterprise Hunting (Top 200 Focus)

  • Build and manage a target list of high-potential enterprises
  • Identify and engage:
    • Sustainability leaders
    • CFO/Finance teams
    • Procurement & supply-chain heads
  • Multi-thread accounts and drive conversations at decision-maker level
  • Maintain long-term engagement cadence even through slow cycles

Supply Chain Product Expansion

  • Identify enterprises publishing Scope 3 or facing CBAM exposure
  • Position supply chain product as:
    • Risk management engine
    • Decarbonisation planning tool
    • Compliance readiness infrastructure
  • Structure paid POCs with defined success criteria
  • Drive cross-sell into existing enterprise customers

Consultant & Partner Ecosystem

  • Build relationships with Big 4 and mid-tier sustainability consultants
  • Position Sprih as an enablement platform for delivery teams
  • Explore opportunities to co-create proposals and joint pitches
  • Generate partner-led pipeline and revenue stream

Market Intelligence & Feedback Loop

  • Keep track of competitor landscape, positioning and activity
  • Capture and report market insights to product and leadership teams
  • Identify recurring objections and buying patterns
  • Work closely with leadership on GTM planning and contribute to strategy refinement

Craft Conversations that Matter

  • Confidently speak with senior stakeholders (Directors, VPs, CSOs, Supply Chain leaders) and hold meaningful discovery conversations.
  • Write sharp, personalised outreach emails, LinkedIn messages, and follow-ups that sound human, relevant, and intelligent.
  • Translate complex sustainability and climate topics into clear, compelling narratives for US audiences.

Proactive Outreach & Lead Generation

  • Make outbound calls to US prospects with confidence and curiosity.
  • Qualify leads, understand intent, and move conversations forward, not just book meetings.
  • Maintain clean CRM hygiene and provide clear context to the sales and leadership team.

Creative & Non-Obvious Lead Generation

  • Experiment with new ways to generate leads:
    • Thought-leadership driven outreach
    • Event-led follow-ups (roundtables, dinners, webinars)
    • Account-based campaigns
    • Warm introductions through ecosystem partners
  • Continuously test what works, and share learnings with the team.

Work at the Intersection of Product, Research & Sales

  • Leverage Sprih’s AI-driven research, data insights, and white papers in conversations.
  • Act as the voice of the market, feeding back objections, patterns, and opportunities to product and leadership teams.

Who you are:

  • 5-8+ years experience in enterprise B2B SaaS sales
  • Experience selling into sustainability, finance, supply chain, or compliance functions preferred
  • Strong cold-selling and outbound skills
  • Comfortable navigating through long sales cycles and complex stakeholders
  • Strong commercial judgment and negotiation ability
  • Structured pipeline manager with disciplined follow-through
  • Ability to say “No” to non-relevant leads and disqualify accounts quicker
  • High ownership mindset and accountability
  • Strong team-building, leadership, and people-skills

  • Confidence and experience in engaging C-suite and senior leadership
  • Clear understanding and temperament for enterprise buying processes
  • Ability to say “no” to low-quality deals and prompt disqualification
