From Tech to Climate: Why I Chose to Build Sprih
I didn’t set out to build a climate tech company. My journey began in the world of technology, solving complex problems, scaling high-growth products, and helping businesses grow with data and intelligence. But somewhere along the way, I realised that the most urgent problems facing our world weren’t just about scale, speed, or efficiency; they were about sustainability, survival, and responsibility.
Climate commitments were disconnected from real, everyday business decisions. Sustainability was being treated as a side project, not a core strategy. The tools were clunky, the data was fragmented, and the urgency was lost in complexity.
That’s when I decided to shift gears, not to chase another market, but to tackle the biggest problem of our time with the skills I knew best: building powerful, intelligent systems that make complex things simple and actionable.
Sprih was born from this belief:
That sustainability shouldn't be hard.
That every business can take climate action if we remove the friction.
That AI can become the most powerful ally in this fight.
I’m not from the traditional climate world, and I think that’s our advantage. We bring a builder’s mindset, a technologist’s curiosity, and a relentless drive for real-world outcomes. At Sprih, we’re not just creating dashboards, we’re rewiring how businesses understand and act on their climate impact.
I didn’t choose this because it was easy. I chose it because I couldn’t look away. And I believe we can turn sustainability from a burden into a competitive edge, for every company, in every industry.
