Aaron has spent his career at the intersection of climate and finance — mapping the territory where sustainability ambition meets capital markets, and building the partnerships that move money toward real environmental outcomes.
At Climeworks, he leads financial and professional services partnerships across North America — working with banks, asset managers, insurance companies, and consulting firms to integrate durable carbon removal into their net-zero strategies. In the first half of 2026 alone, Climeworks signed fourteen new carbon removal partnerships representing approximately 450,000 tonnes of removals. Aaron is a key part of building that commercial momentum, including a landmark ten-year agreement with TD Bank.
Before Climeworks, he led North American go-to-market strategy at Doconomy — a platform helping 90+ banks embed carbon impact tracking into core banking experiences — and authored the Climate Fintech Report at New Energy Nexus, one of the first rigorous analyses of the emerging intersection between climate action and financial technology. He holds an MBA in International Finance from IE Business School and a degree in International Relations from the University of Washington.
