Prashant co-founded Praana Health to solve a problem hiding in plain sight: most of the health data that could enable earlier intervention never gets captured — because the front door of healthcare is too slow, too manual, and too far from where people actually are.
Praana automates clinical intake and vitals capture for outpatient clinics and urgent care — pushing clean, structured data directly into EMR systems and reducing the manual burden on nurses and medical assistants. The platform measures eight clinical-grade vitals, guides the intake workflow, and has already been deployed at urgent care centers and community sites including senior care facilities in New York.
His path to this work spans IIT Kanpur, ISB, and two decades across materials science, energy storage strategy at DuPont, AI chip development at AlphaICs, and NSF-funded research into the healthcare needs of aging communities. That range gives him an unusually clear view of what it actually takes to build technology that works in the physical world — not just in a demo.
