About Sprih:
Sprih is a U.S.-headquartered, VC-backed climate-tech company building AI-native infrastructure for climate and sustainability intelligence. We work with global enterprises across aviation, manufacturing, pharma, logistics, and industrial supply chains, helping them move past fragmented sustainability reporting into decision-grade intelligence.
Content at Sprih isn’t a marketing side-function. It’s how we shape market conversations: deep research, industry analysis, white papers, enterprise insights. We need someone to own how that intelligence reaches the world.
The Role
We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer who obsesses over user experience and takes pride in building interfaces that are fast, intuitive, and production-grade. You will own significant parts of the Sprih product UI — working across dashboards, data visualizations, reporting workflows, and platform features that enterprise sustainability teams rely on every day.
This is a high-ownership role. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to translate complex sustainability data into interfaces that make decision-making easier for non-technical users at large organizations.
What You Will Do
- Build, ship, and own frontend features across Sprih’s enterprise platform — from early design collaboration through to production deployment.
- Develop responsive, performant, and accessible user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Translate complex data — emissions metrics, supply chain graphs, benchmark comparisons — into clear, usable visualizations and dashboards.
- Drive end-to-end delivery on ambiguous, high-impact projects with minimal hand-holding.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and set a high bar for code quality, maintainability, and component design across the team.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks; use browser profiling and debugging tools to ship fast, reliable experiences.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to design APIs and data contracts that serve the frontend well.
- Communicate design and technical decisions clearly to product managers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Evaluate and advocate for new tools, libraries, and patterns that improve engineering quality and developer experience.
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of frontend engineering experience, with a portfolio of production web applications you have built and shipped.
- Strong proficiency in React and its ecosystem — hooks, state management, component architecture, and performance patterns.
- Solid command of JavaScript and TypeScript; you write code that is readable and maintainable by others.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first CSS frameworks; a good eye for UI detail and visual consistency.
- Comfort with browser-based debugging, performance profiling, and cross-browser testing.
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with asynchronous data flows.
- Strong communication skills — you can explain technical trade-offs to product and design partners clearly.
- A collaborative mindset with high ownership instincts; you take problems to completion without needing to be managed.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Nice to Have
- Experience building data-heavy dashboards or analytics interfaces.
- Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as D3.js, Recharts, or similar.
- Exposure to design tools like Figma and an ability to work directly from design files.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Prior experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup.
- Interest in sustainability, climate, or corporate responsibility.
What Sprih Offers
- Work that contributes to real climate outcomes at enterprise scale across 21 countries.
- Ownership from day one — you will build product, not maintain a backlog.
- Direct collaboration with the founding team and visibility into company strategy and roadmap.
- A culture built on depth, long-term thinking, and genuine accountability.
- Competitive compensation and the opportunity to grow with the company as it scales globally.
