Job Description:

As a Graphic Designer at Sprih, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future by creating compelling visual content that educates and engages our target audience. You’ll gain practical experience in designing for a technology startup and contributing to our efforts in spreading awareness about carbon accounting and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Develop visually appealing and impactful designs for various platforms, including our website, social media, email campaigns, presentations, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate closely with the product team to understand design requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions.
• Create infographics, illustrations and other graphical elements to simplify complex concepts related to carbon accounting and sustainability.
• Ensure all design materials align with our brand guidelines and effectively convey the startup’s values and message.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design best practices, and advancements in sustainability to infuse innovative design concepts into our communications.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns and design projects.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.

We are looking for people with:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design or relevant field. Prior experience in the technology or sustainability sector is a plus.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Familiarity with UI/UX design principles is a plus.
• Strong understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, color theory, composition, and layout.
• Passion for sustainability and a desire to contribute to positive environmental change through your work.
• Ability to distil complex ideas into minimal, visually compelling and easy-to-understand graphics.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing you to present and discuss design concepts effectively.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain consistency in design assets across various platforms.
